This cute, hand carved, cedar frog sits on top of a standard U.S. Post Office approved mailbox, just waiting for his lunch to fly by -- or the mailman to show up. Hand painted lily pads complete the scene.
We construct a platform made out of exterior BC. plywood, for strength, and cover it with a layer of Western Cedar. This adds texture and durability to our FROG MAILBOX. The door is also covered in cedar for a finished look. If you want a house number on your mailbox, a wooden plaque can be attached to the front door panel with your house number painted on it.
After construction, Our FROG is sent to the spray booth, to be covered inside and out with a protective layer of exterior paint. Then, he moves on to the art studio, where our artists add their own mix of realistic colors and details to bring him to life. We use only the finest exterior acrylic enamel in our painting. And as a final step, we add multiple coats of exterior polyurethane as a protective layer.
This method of, cedar construction and painting gives our FROG MAILBOX the strength and durability to withstand the elements for years to come.
